A lot of changes have taken place over the last year at Atlas. Hiring Elayna, moving to bigger office space, finalizing our rebrand, and creation of this newsletter are among some of the biggest changes.
We’re always looking for ways to improve our services and inspire those we work with to achieve their goals. 2023 will offer us more opportunities towards this effort but we are also looking back on more ‘old school’ activities. With the thrust of the covid scare behind us, we will be renewing our efforts to see people in person. Annual in-person review meetings with our clients have always been a cornerstone of our operation and the best way to ensure we stay current and relevant to your needs. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
In the meantime, we at Atlas wish you a very happy holiday season and a wonderful end to 2022.

It’s been a rough year for investors and another rare year with no safe haven. Some note this as the worst bond market since 1788, and it’s the 3rd time bonds have had negative returns since 1974. Housing markets, inflation, war, supply-and-demand, and many other factors have wreaked havoc this year on investment portfolios, creating a lot of mixed messages from the ‘experts’. A looming recession doesn’t make people feel any better but could mean good news for bonds.
I feel things will start to calm mid-late 2023 and expect we’ll have a better year ahead, but it’s always speculation and something new can be looming around the corner. Having a plan and staying the course is usually the best advice.
Watching volatile stock markets with extreme ups and downs as we’ve had isn’t easy, but history shows that this is normal. It’s important for investors to stay calm and stick to their long-term plan.

By expanding your comfort zone you gain new skills as well as confidence for next time! Whether in your dream career or your “for now” job, you can choose to get the work done with a positive or negative attitude, each will give you a very different experience.
