A new year always brings me into a ‘fresh start’ mentality and at Atlas Financial Group we’ve been busy prepping for this year’s fresh starts. We’re excited to be starting back to full in-person meetings, we are starting to experiment with new technology to help improve our services, and we are starting to implement processes that we’ve been building for a couple of years now. It’s an exciting time for us.

One of the ideas behind our new brand “Atlas” is in the practical definition of the word…’a collection of maps’. Internally we’re mapping out how 2023 and beyond will look for the company, our purpose, and the services we provide. Externally our process works to help our clients create their map to success and to provide guidance along the way. We help ensure you are protecting the things you feel are worth protecting, aligning your financial lives with your goals, and getting you to where you want to be.

Whether we’re helping you take your first steps at the start of your journey (financial planning basics), meeting you along the way and giving directions (making the plan more efficient/effective), or walking with you as you cross the finish line (retirement, estate planning, business succession) you can count on us to be your guide and be there if you feel off course.

Have a wonderful 2023 and we look forward to seeing you soon.

From our library

“Every day we awake with a certain amount of mental, emotional, and physical energy that we spend throughout the day. If we allow our emotions to deplete our energy, we have no energy to change our lives or to give to others.”

-Don Miguel Ruiz, “The Four Agreements”

Market

Minute

2023 is primed to provide us with the most highly anticipated recession of all time. According to a number of analysts this is expected to happen around the third Quarter of 2023. Will the fact that this is so highly anticipated mean that we can take steps to avoid it? Probably not and, in fact, many feel we’re already in the early stages.

Either way, expect 2023 to be a bumpy ride in the markets but rest assured that we are watching things carefully and are making arrangements to minimize the impact on your portfolios.
